Purpose of This Policy

Church of Christ Ministries Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is dedicated to stewarding all gifts with integrity, transparency, and accountability. This Donation & Refund Policy outlines how contributions are handled and under what circumstances refunds may be issued.

Nature of Donations

All donations made to the Foundation—whether online, by mail, in person, or through special events—are considered voluntary charitable gifts to support our mission, including:

  • Benevolence and outreach

  • Minister support and retirement assistance

  • Community programs and education

  • Church and mission development

Because donations are used promptly to further our mission, all contributions are generally non-refundable.

When a Refund May Be Granted

While donations are normally final, the Foundation may issue a refund under the following circumstances:

A. Duplicate Donation

If a donor unintentionally submits the same donation more than once.

B. Incorrect Donation Amount

If the donor accidentally enters the wrong amount.

C. Unauthorized Transaction

If a donation was made fraudulently or without the donor’s permission.

D. Processing or Administrative Error

If there was a Foundation or payment-system error.

Timeframe for Refund Requests

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the original transaction.
After 30 days, funds may have already been allocated to ministry efforts and may no longer be eligible for refund.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, donors must contact us directly with:

  • Full name

  • Donation date

  • Amount given

  • Method of donation

  • Reason for the refund request

Email: info@cocministriesfoundation.org

Phone: (863) 397-0147

We may request additional documentation to verify the request.

Payment Processor Fees

Some third-party payment processors do not refund transaction fees.
If this applies, the refunded amount may be slightly less than the original donation.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Event tickets after the published cancellation deadline

  • Products (books, shirts, materials) that have already been shipped or received

  • Designated gifts that have already been allocated to the requested program

  • Anonymous donations without sufficient identifying information

  • Contributions made more than 30 days prior to request

Tax Receipt Adjustments

If a refund is issued, the Foundation will send an updated contribution statement to the donor for accurate tax reporting.

Foundation Discretion

The Foundation reserves the right to:

  • Approve or deny any refund request

  • Request supporting documentation

  • Set internal limits or safeguards to ensure financial responsibility and compliance

All decisions are made prayerfully and with stewardship in mind.
